Writer and Editor: 2004 – Present

  • Authored Backbone: A Journey from Refugee to Neurosurgeon, the memoirs of a prominent spinal neurosurgeon (2013-14), and created content for author’s website.
  • Co-authored with Tom Lombardo, Ph.D. Mind Flight: A Journey into the Future (Xlibris 2011).
  • Have edited all of Tom Lombardo’s books, including the popular futures resources, The Evolution of Future Consciousness and Contemporary Futurist Thought (Author House 2006), as well as the Center for Future Consciousness and Wisdom Page Updates newsletters.
  • Have edited over 50 articles that have appeared in the following journals: Journal of Futures Studies; World Future Review; On the Horizon; World Future Society Conferenceannual anthologies; Futures Bulletin; World AffairsThe Futurist; Journal of Cosmology; Mother Pelican: The Journal of Sustainability; and Future Times.
  • Have edited the website content and created brouchures and fliers for the Center for Future Consciousness.
  • Edited the website content, brochure, and catalogue, and ensured that the text conformed to standard English usage (in this case British usage) for French futurist Fabienne Goux-Batiment’s MFA in Foresight and Innovation project at the University of Angers.
  • Have contributed articles and book reviews to educational journals and online magazines; recently published in the anthology Science, Wisdom, and the Future: Humanity’s Quest for a Flourishing Earth (Collins Foundation Press 2012).
  • Editor of the Diversity newsletter for the Maricopa Community Colleges from 2004-2006; contributed articles to Rio Salado College newsletter.
